This video shows the 2012 jazz festival at Haugesund, Norway. There is the statue of Marilyn Monroe, the waterfront, an American jazz band, and other scenes. Marilyn Monroe's father came to the United States from here. There are also some copper mines near here where copper was mined to use in making the Statue of Liberty. The island of Alvaldenes is also near here where there are a replica of a Viking farm, St. Olaf's church, and an archeological dig where remnants of an early king's palace has been found and where they expect to find an even older one. Harold Fairhair was the first king to unite the country.
