I started my trip to Norway with something special. I had planned to hike up Galdhøppigen in advance, but I didn't follow a specific itinerary. So when I arrived around 9pm at Spiterstulen on my first day in Norway, I made the spontaneous decision to try and summit the mountain that same night. What first felt like a bit of a crazy idea turned out into one of my most memorable hikes to date.
The colors of the evening sky, the glaciers, the rough granite walls... I wish I could say I was able to capture their beauty.
