Welcome to Trondheim. Today’s Norway Walk through the city centre of Trondheim features the Royal Residence, market square, the central shopping area, the Church of Our Lady, Nidaros Cathedral, the Nidelva river, the old town bridge and the Bakklandet neighbourhood.

I filmed this walk on a Saturday afternoon at the very beginning of April, 2023. It was the first weekend of Norway’s long Easter break so the town is a little quieter than usual as so many Norwegians head to the mountains over Easter. We start at the fish market and the statue of the Last Viking. Enjoy the walk!
