NORWAY SUMMER HOLIDAY - part eight

We spent hours playing in all the heated outdoor and indoor pools at the Waterpark. Its called Badelandet. Its 11kms (6 miles) outside Kristiansand. It is next to the Dyreparken zoo and you can buy combined tickets or go separately from the zoo. It is a whole island full of fun swimming experiences. There are lots of slides and pools - both indoor and outdoor for everyone...from babies...to teenagers...adults and grandparents!
There are plenty of picnic spots to choose from outside or there are eating places indoors...its up to you! We chose the sunshine and fed the ducks on the shore of the island while watching the pirate ships go by from Dyreparken Zoo. The kids ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!

THE SHARK RIDE: You are sitting in a semi-inflatable boat. The boat disappears into a tunnel, continues into a giant steep "quarterpipe," and ends with a splash in the landing pool.

Height and age restriction:
Must be two people. Height: Min. 120 cm. along with person of 140 cm. Weight: Total weight must not exceed 200 kilograms.
