Welcome to part 1 of our 2 part series where we spend a week exploring Scotland, doing van life! We skinny dipped in freezing cold ice pools, saw incredible mountain ranges in the highlands, drank delicious whiskey cask cider, and spent a lot of time being silly to make light of the fact the rain never seemed to stop!

Scotland is a special place to both of as we both have strong family ties there going back many generations. While the constant rain was a real challenge, we had a great time exploring the dramatic, harsh, beautiful land that is the Scottish Highlands.
